The background for your portrait can be a favourite indoor or outdoor location, such as in your own home or garden (or both), or in a woodland, shore, hillside or urban landscape.

Mainland travel is free within 25 miles of Portsmouth, embracing an area which includes Southampton, Winchester, Alton, Arundel and Chichester. Outside of this zone, there is a charge of 40p per mile.
London [within the M25 area] requires a supplement of £40;- that for the Isle of Wight is £20.
Overseas travel and accommodation etc will be charged at cost. 

Your photographs can be taken under a variety of lighting conditions such as occur during different seasons, time of day and weather conditions. This makes the portrait session a more interesting experience likely to encourage an environment in which unique images are created. 

Alternatively, for a studio portrait, lights and backgrounds can be set up at an indoor location, using a suitable interior, perhaps in your own home. This is particularly advantageous when the subjects are children or pets, as they are not disturbed by unfamiliar surroundings. In addition, a variety of clothing and other things which could be used in the pictures, are readily at hand.

A minimum of twenty different photos are taken, from close-ups to full length, of individuals and groups. They are taken in colour, and can be printed in colour, black and white, sepia and other tones. The preview prints, size approximately 5”x4”, are in colour and are yours to keep.

The sitting fee is £75. 

The photographer requests an interview before the sitting in order to show you samples of his work and to discuss your requirements.

On the day, please allow two hours for the portrait sitting.
